How is 0-60mph technically measured by experts?
I'm interested in serious answers from expert car enthusiasts, especially from automotive engineers, magazine testers, and the like. Example components to my question follow: 1. They rev the engine first, usually to an engine speed close to the torque peak. In at automatic, the gear will be in gear with the brake down, and in a manual, the car will be in neutral because the clutch is down in first. Sometimes a few runs are
