For a 1989 Dodge Raider, I'm having trouble getting a starter to fit it right.?
It is an automatic 6 cylinder, has a 6 bolt torque converter in it and the flywheel has 117 teeth. I buy the starter that it calls for and it grinds and jams into the flywheel. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong for months! Auto Zone sold
Time to find out if that engine was the one that came in it from the factory or if someone has been in there messing around.
